Tablet dual 5-megapixel camera, which work together to make a 3D image and 3D sequence records. Cool, huh? LG Optimus Pad has been a long wait.
After months of rumors, LG has finally announced its 3D tablet at MWC in February.
Rated as T-Mobile G-Slate in the United States has long been rumored that the couple Optimus Pad to capture video in 3D with the 3D display without glasses, as the Nintendo 3DS and LG Optimus 3D will be released on his own phone.
However, it was not. What we are dealing here with a Tegra 2 Android 3.0 mobile firepower double wishbone rear 5-megapixel camera for capturing 3D video. 3D-display that is not supported in any case - this is a standard 8.9-inch capacitive touch screen LCD screen with an aspect ratio of 15:09 ET 1280 × 768 WXGA.
Built-in memory provides 1 GB of RAM, while our test unit came with 32 GB of internal flash memory.
For a long time we did not know how this tablet will cost, but you have to go on sale at Carphone Warehouse for £ 749.99 incredible. Yes, you read correctly. No, you do not have to imagine - sit before it does damage.
At this price this tablet will be required to offer the moon and recommend the proposal. Therefore, if the chops? Let's see.
This is a pretty standard device in the future and feel much in your hands - certainly not have the wow factor of some other tablets we've seen lately.
However, LG has made a big song and dance in its press materials about the good Optimus Pad is held in one hand - and this is very true.
This is a 8.9-inch tablet which means that between the 7-inch tablet PlayBook and iPad 9.7 inches and 2. The idea is that this value provides the best of both worlds, the balance of a good laptop with the screen size is big enough for watching movies.
The panel on the left and right is wider than the top and bottom, making it in one hand while with the device management experience some quite comfortable.
It is quite heavy, but in 630g, so the celebration, on the one hand, it becomes very boring after a while - much more, the iPad 2 weighs only 600 grams, he recalls.
According to the conventional tablet with Android 3.0, LG Optimus Pad has very few physical buttons.
On / off / standby mode is on the left side up, on the same side as the small port of loading.
The volume control located just a stone's throw from the on / off at the top of the device.
And other physical features include USB and HDMI at the bottom and thin speakers on each side.
The front of the 2-megapixel camera is in the upper left corner of the device that makes it good for both landscape and portrait video conferencing, while the 5-megapixel snapper twins in the back of the unit and the rest before the center next to LED flash.
There is no sign of a port in this external storage hatch, though, unfortunately. This is something that we have a little irritation - but Android 3.0 is not currently able to recognize the external storage ports, updates will be sent to activate this feature, so it is disappointing that so many producers have chosen people should not be included.
As usual in most cell tablets we've seen so far, LG Optimus Pad comes with an almost intact building Android 3.0. It is ideal to discover the product of Google.
There is no match, no menus, no widgets, LG. This is exactly the same version of Android, available at Xoom and Galaxy Tab 10 0.1 V.
We will not go into detail about the Android 3.0 operating system on this test - if you want to know more about the software, you can check our full review of Android 3.0 Honeycomb.
Note that the pre-release unit we tested is courtesy of LG for us, even though the software does not end, so maybe a couple of tweaks here and there by the time of the tablet hits stores . We will check back when we saw the end of the show, and let you know when you know, more.We not go into details of the Android 3.0 operating system on this test - if you want to learn more about the programs that you can see our Android 3.0 Honeycomb full review.

Optimus tablet screen fine - not particularly noted in one of the other Android tablets, but the resolution is easily high enough 8.9-inch screen for all to look sharp and clear.
The movement is well controlled, and sensitive, too. We were very happy with all Android 3.0 tablets we've seen so far - no delay at all. Manufacturers use Tegra processor 2 double heart is very effective.
It suffers in direct sunlight, however. And indeed, when we park next to Optimus Xoom and Galaxy Tab 10.1V, we realized that the screen is not as bright in Notepad Optimus.
Perhaps this is the case, as LG has calibrated the screen to save battery life - this is only speculation, however. The important thing is that there are many bright enough to see good movies inside and see it is a pleasure. The screen does not appear to push the track of the fat a little better some of the other pills - though still not as good as the iPad 2 in this regard.
We expected that some of the problems and disadvantages with this pre-release unit, and I must say we had a few. Nothing serious - most of the problems was related to how the 3.0 Android operating system was calibrated with hardware from LG.
For example, volume control, in fact, reduce the volume, and vice versa. LG claims that this sort of thing will not affect the final sales samples, again, let's see when the final designs to come and let you know.
